Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull has announced the launch of Ledaig Hebridean Moon, a 10-year-old single malt bottled at cask strength—the first time the distillery has released a 10-year-old Ledaig at natural strength.
This new release was distilled using some of the first spirit from Tobermory’s new stills, which were installed in 2014. The whisky has been matured in second-fill bourbon casks and bottled at 58.8% ABV, with an RRP of £85.
Hebridean Moon is the second release from Tobermory created in partnership with the Mull and Iona Community Trust. A contribution of £20,000 from the release will go toward supporting wildlife conservation efforts in the Ardura Community Forest.
The bottling also continues Tobermory’s collaboration with wildlife photographer Gordon Buchanan, a Mull native. His photography appears on the packaging, featuring the Baliscate Stones, an ancient site just outside Tobermory.
Ledaig Hebridean Moon is available now from tobermorydistillery.com, and will be released through specialist retailers from 12 May 2025.
