The Scotch Malt Whisky Society Ends 2024 with Festive Cheer and Exciting Releases

The Scotch Malt Whisky Society (SMWS), renowned as the world’s leading whisky club with over 40,000 members globally, is closing out 2024 with a series of remarkable announcements:

  • A Dram Good Christmas Tasting Pack: Priced at £39, this festive pack includes three 50ml bottles of limited-edition single malt whiskies, each featuring playful names and vibrant tasting notes. Perfect for gifting or enjoying during the holiday season.
  • The Creators Collection – Peat Plants: Launching November 22, this new premium series features four limited-edition aged peated single malt whiskies, celebrating Scotland’s natural landscapes. The collection includes:
    • Fern & Flame (26 Years Old): Earthy notes and balanced smokiness.
    • Peat Bloom (33 Years Old): Smoke and maritime saltiness.
    • Moss & Mist (25 Years Old): Medicinal peat and rich depth.
    • Heather Ember (25 Years Old): Subtle sweetness with floral smoke.
      Full set priced at £1,300, with individual bottles ranging from £195 to £425.
  • 50th Anniversary Cask Club Expansion: Due to high demand, the SMWS has added a limited number of casks to its exclusive program. Members can own a cask, monitor its maturation until 2033, and create bespoke bottlings. Cask options include peated and unpeated styles, with prices starting at £4,000 (bottling costs apply).
