The Dalmore Introduces 2006 and 2009 Vintage Single Malts

The Dalmore has revealed the latest additions to its Vintage Collection: The Dalmore 2006 Vintage and The Dalmore 2009 Vintage. These limited-edition single malts are the fourth release in the collection, showcasing the brand’s mastery of cask selection and whisky maturation.

The Dalmore 2006 Vintage has been aged for 18 years, beginning its journey in first-fill American white oak ex-Bourbon barrels before being enhanced in 30-year-old Matusalem Oloroso Sherry casks and Amoroso Sherry casks. Presented at natural color and non-chill filtered, it boasts an ABV of 47.2%. On the nose, sherry-soaked raisins blend with roasted figs, cedar wood, and honey. The palate reveals dark fruit, liquorice, and cacao, with hints of bergamot and blood orange. Its finish is rich with antique sherry notes, berries, cassia bark, and dark chocolate.

The Dalmore 2009 Vintage, aged for 15 years, begins in American white oak ex-Bourbon barrels and receives a dual finish in Matusalem Sherry casks and 10-year-old Tawny Port pipes. Bottled at 48.9% ABV, it is also non-chill filtered and naturally colored. The nose delivers dark plum, cracked black pepper, Manuka honey, and clove, while the palate unfolds with Morello cherries, candied Seville orange, fresh figs, and cacao. The finish lingers with rich plum, ginger cake, roast chestnut, and soft wood spice.

Both releases highlight The Dalmore’s dedication to crafting complex and luxurious single malts. The Dalmore 2006 Vintage (RRP £403) and The Dalmore 2009 Vintage (RRP £173) are available globally from this month.
