Tamdhu will introduce two limited edition expressions during the Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival (29 April – 4 May 2026), continuing its focus on exclusive sherry cask-matured releases.
The first release, Tamdhu Distillery Team Single Cask, is bottled at 58.9% ABV and limited to just 345 individually numbered bottles. Presented as a distillery-exclusive expression, it highlights Tamdhu’s core approach of full maturation in Oloroso sherry casks, with an RRP of £175.
The second release, Tamdhu Dalbeallie 09, is bottled at 60.5% ABV and limited to 1,000 bottles. Matured in first fill European oak sherry casks, the expression takes its name from Dalbeallie Station, the restored Victorian railway station located on the distillery estate. The release carries an RRP of £105.
Dalbeallie Station historically played a role in Tamdhu’s supply chain, receiving sherry casks transported from Jerez, Spain, a practice that continues to define the distillery’s sherry-led production style.
Both expressions reinforce Tamdhu’s positioning as a producer focused exclusively on Oloroso sherry cask maturation, contributing to a consistent profile built around dried fruit, spice and oak influence.
The festival bottlings will be available at the Tamdhu distillery shop on 1–2 May, with early online access from 30 April for members of the brand’s Dedication Society.
According to Brand Director Iain Weir, the releases are intended to showcase the distillery’s core maturation philosophy, while Distillery Manager Sandy McIntyre highlighted their role as examples of the distillery’s approach to limited edition bottlings.
