Kilchoman Distillery, founded in 2005, is renowned for being one of Scotland’s few farm distilleries, where they produce whisky from barley grown on their own land. Known for its commitment to tradition and quality, Kilchoman has released several noteworthy expressions this year, including the Sauternes Cask Matured and Loch Gorm 2024. We have previously covered these exceptional bottlings, and now, Kilchoman offers its club members a unique opportunity to own a private cask through an exclusive ballot system.
Kilchoman Distillery has launched a unique opportunity for its Club Members to purchase private casks, a rare offer since 2008.
Members can buy a first-fill ex-bourbon barrel for £5,250, filled with the distillery’s heavily peated spirit. The ballot for this offer opens on August 21st and closes on September 3rd. A £100 deposit is required to enter, which will be refunded if unsuccessful. Winners will be notified within 48 hours of the ballot closing.
