Port Charlotte, known for its bold and peaty expressions, introduces the Rock’ndaal 03.2, a highly exclusive and rare release bottled at 54% ABV. This exceptional single malt has spent its entire maturation period on Islay, predominantly in bourbon casks (70%) with a finishing touch in first-fill Sauternes casks (30%).
The Port Charlotte Rock’ndaal 03.2 offers a harmonious balance of flavors, showcasing ripe stoned fruits, sweet peach, and crème brulee, complemented by the signature peat smoke that defines Port Charlotte whiskies.
Only 1,500 bottles of this unique expression have been released, making it a coveted collector’s item. Pre-orders for the Port Charlotte Rock’ndaal 03.2 open on Monday, May 13th, with bottles set to be dispatched on June 5th.
The bottle design features golden soundwaves against a deep green backdrop, inspired by music festivals, and keen-eyed whisky enthusiasts may uncover a hidden message within the intricate, audio-inspired design.
Master Distiller Adam Hannett commented on this special release, stating, “There’s a real element of purity to the spirit in Port Charlotte Rock’ndaal 03.2.
