Michter’s Distillery is set to release the 2024 edition of its highly anticipated Michter’s US*1 Toasted Barrel Finish Bourbon, with shipping scheduled to begin in September. This marks the fifth installment in the series, which debuted in 2014 and saw subsequent releases in 2015, 2018, and 2021.
The bourbon is crafted by aging Michter’s Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey in a second, custom-made barrel that is toasted but not charred, imparting unique flavors. The 2024 release boasts tasting notes of graham crackers, marshmallows, caramel, and butterscotch, offering a rich and indulgent profile.
Bottled at 45.7% ABV (91.4 proof), this limited edition bourbon will be available for $110 per 750ml bottle.
