Glenmorangie has introduced the limited-edition Pursuit of Passion Wine Cask Collection, a tribute to the brand’s Master Distiller Dr. Bill Lumsden’s love for fine wine. This exclusive release, limited to just 600 sets, features three rare and aged whiskies that highlight Dr. Bill’s pioneering work in wine cask finishing.
Dr. Bill’s journey to create this collection took him across Europe’s most prestigious wine regions, where he handpicked casks from Burgundy, Bordeaux, and Piedmont. These casks were used to mature the Glenmorangie whiskies for over 25 years, resulting in unique expressions with extraordinary complexity.
The trio includes the 29-year-old Glenmorangie Margaux Wine Cask Finish, known for its rich flavors of chocolate, plums, and sweet chili; the 28-year-old Glenmorangie Corton-Charlemagne Wine Cask Finish, with notes of jasmine, soft smoke, and clove; and the 27-year-old Glenmorangie Barbaresco Wine Cask Finish, offering hints of leather, rich spices, and eucalyptus.
Encased in a handcrafted oak presentation box, this collection is a celebration of Glenmorangie’s innovation and dedication to crafting exquisite single malts.
