Kavalan Distillery has introduced The Distiller’s Reserve Series, an exclusive release crafted in collaboration with the Jeju Tourism Organization in South Korea. The series features two expressions, each showcasing a unique cask combination and bottled at 40% ABV.
Kavalan Distiller’s Reserve No. 1 is matured in ex-Bourbon, Spanish Fino sherry, and rum casks. It presents aromas of light mint, vanilla ice cream, citrus, pineapple, and red apple, followed by a palate of chamomile, green apple, and sea salt chocolate, with a finish of almond, nuts, and honeyed cinnamon.
Kavalan Distiller’s Reserve No. 2 is aged in ex-Bourbon, Spanish Manzanilla sherry, and brandy casks. Its nose features gardenia, peach, honeyed lemon, and vanilla cream, while the palate offers sweet apple, citrus, rum-soaked lemon, macadamia, and chocolate, rounded off with honeyed sweetness and caramel.
The Kavalan Distiller’s Reserve Series is available exclusively at Jeju duty-free.
