Fielden Whisky, the English whisky brand rooted in regenerative farming, will serve as official drinks sponsor for the 2025 Groundswell Festival, taking place 2–3 July at Lannock Farm, Hertfordshire.
Now in its ninth year, Groundswell is the UK’s flagship event for regenerative agriculture and sustainable land stewardship. The two-day gathering brings together farmers, environmentalists, food producers, and changemakers to explore practical and forward-looking solutions for the future of farming. This year’s programme includes over 400 speakers and 200 sessions.
As part of the partnership, Fielden will co-host two headline banquets titled “Feasting From Field to Table”, curated with the team at Salsa Rosa. Held on 1st and 2nd July, these communal dinners will include a three-course meal celebrating seasonal produce, commentary from the growers, and a guided tasting led by Fielden’s Whisky Maker, Chico Rosa. Banquet tickets are priced at £70 per head and include food and drinks. (Tickets require a valid festival pass.) URL to buy is here.
Fielden will also operate a dedicated whisky bar throughout the event and be the exclusive whisky served at the Earthworm Arms, the festival’s main bar.
With a focus on soil health, biodiversity, and a no-chemical, low-input approach to grain production, Fielden is redefining whisky as an agricultural product grown with sustainability at its core. Their regenerative farming model plants diverse grains in clover-covered fields, avoiding synthetic inputs and minimising soil disturbance.
Dave Smith, Fielden CEO, commented:
“Groundswell represents the future of food and farming in the UK. It’s where progressive ideas take root. We’re proud to support that mission and bring Fielden’s own vision of soil-first spirits to the heart of the community driving it forward.”
Fielden Whisky’s presence at Groundswell 2025 highlights the growing connection between sustainable agriculture and craft spirits — an approach that not only supports resilient farming systems, but also delivers complex, flavourful whisky.
