Teeling Whiskey Celebrates 10 Years as Dublin’s Whiskey Pioneer

Teeling Whiskey Company is marking a decade of distilling in Dublin, celebrating 10 years since it became the first new whiskey producer in the city in over 125 years. Since opening its distillery doors in 2015, Teeling has played a leading role in Ireland’s whiskey renaissance.

In its first ten years, Teeling has earned more than 650 international awards and holds the title of World’s Most Awarded Irish Whiskey, based on the World Whiskies Awards from 2019–2024. Beyond whiskey, the distillery has welcomed over one million visitors, becoming one of Dublin’s top tourist attractions and receiving recognition from the World Travel Awards, CIE Awards, and World Whiskies Awards.

To commemorate the milestone, Teeling has released a limited-edition Birthday Batch, made from some of the distillery’s oldest stocks. Available exclusively via teelingwhiskey.com, all profits from the release will be donated to local charities in Dublin.

Jack Teeling, Founder of Teeling Whiskey Company, reflected:

“Bringing Dublin whiskey distilling back to life was no small task, but through passion, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to quality, Teeling has firmly established itself among the world’s leading whiskey brands and visitor attractions. We’re proud of what we’ve built, and excited for what’s ahead.”

The distillery will host a year-long programme of events throughout 2025, including “Sip Sessions” featuring whiskey talks with industry figures. Visitors born in June will also receive complimentary tours of the award-winning facility.
