The Benromach 50 Years Old single malt Scotch whisky represents a rare and exceptional release, having spent half a century maturing to perfection. This whisky, shaped by skilled hands and a dedication to traditional craftsmanship, is now available in only 248 hand-blown decanters.
Matured in Sherry casks since 1972, this whisky delivers decadent notes of stewed fruit and orange zest, followed by strawberry and fruitcake flavors. The finish is described as long and full, with underlying hints of cracked black pepper and a subtle, signature smoke.
Each of the 248 decanters, meticulously handcrafted by GLASSTORM, features intricate battuto-style detailing, making every bottle unique, mirroring the individuality of the whisky it contains.
Exclusive Availability
Decanter Number 1 is exclusively available through the distillery’s online store, accompanied by a special Benromach 50 print and a unique “Distiller for a Day” experience at the Benromach distillery. This offering provides an opportunity to learn firsthand about the whisky-making process and to enjoy a dram of the Benromach 50.
Outside the UK, the Benromach 50 will be available from selected global retail starting 10th September 2024.
