The Glendronach Revives 21-Year-Old with New Look

After being discontinued in 2023, The Glendronach 21-Year-Old single malt has returned—this time with a refreshed visual identity.

Matured in a mix of oloroso and Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks from Andalucía, the whisky remains unchanged in composition: bottled at 48% ABV, natural colour, and with the rich, sherried profile that defines Glendronach’s style. The relaunch marks the first expression in the distillery’s ultra-premium core range to showcase the new design, following the brand’s 2024 restyling under owner Brown-Forman.

Master Blender Rachel Barrie describes the 21-year-old as “an elegant and sublime expression” with notes of autumn fruits, red plums, candied orange, and a Sherry-laced palate of bitter chocolate, nutmeg, and Victoria plum pudding.

Now available from June 2025 with wider global distribution to follow, the new-look 21-Year-Old is priced at £250 (approx. $339). Later this year, redesigned versions of The Glendronach 30-Year-Old and 40-Year-Old are also expected to be unveiled.
