The GlenAllachie celebrates Lunar New Year 2026 with a limited-edition single malt created to honour the Year of the Fire Horse — a symbol of independence, vitality, and bold ambition.
Crafted by Master Distiller Billy Walker, the GlenAllachie Lunar New Year 2026 Edition is a 13-year-old single malt matured in a trio of exceptional casks: Pedro Ximénez, Oloroso Sherry, and Virgin Oak. This multi-wood approach delivers depth, richness, and a festive character designed for the season.
Released exclusively across select specialist retailers in Asia, with a limited allocation available from The GlenAllachie Distillery and its online shop from January 2026, the whisky arrives in time for the New Year celebrations beginning 17 February 2026.
Bottled at 48% ABV, natural colour, and non-chill filtered, the edition stays true to the distillery’s commitment to integrity and flavour.
Colour: Polished mahogany
Nose: Orange zest, mocha, warm molasses, touches of butterscotch, rich cocoa, and cinnamon sticks
Palate: Toasted almonds, honeycomb, maraschino cherries, followed by candied ginger, Black Forest gâteau, baking spices, and blood orange
