The GlenAllachie Launches Sinteis Part III

The GlenAllachie Distillery has announced the launch of the third edition in the Sinteis Series (pronounced sin-teesh)The GlenAllachie Sinteis Part III.

Sinteis Part III is a 2014 vintage combining single malt matured in Oloroso Sherry casks with spirit from French Limousin virgin oak barrels. The whisky is presented at cask strength of 57.4% ABV, bottled in natural colour and non-chill filtered, highlighting the distillery’s commitment to authenticity and wood-driven character.

On the nose, it offers aromas of orange zest, nutmeg and dried orchard fruits, layered with honeycomb, maraschino cherries, mocha and crystallised brown sugar. The palate reveals notes of heather honey, spiced orange and baked apple, followed by winter truffle, muscovado sugar and cinnamon, before concluding with a finish of hazelnuts and mocha.

The release is presented in bespoke packaging designed by in-house creative and Scottish artist Kayley Barbour. The hand-drawn motif is inspired by French virgin oak, featuring interwoven and finely detailed branches and roots. The presentation box incorporates a subtle wood grain texture, paying tribute to the central role of oak throughout the Sinteis Series.

The GlenAllachie Sinteis Part III carries a suggested retail price of £75.99 and is available now at the distillery’s visitor centre and online shop, with worldwide availability expected in the coming weeks.
