Linn House, the luxurious Scottish retreat in Speyside, will reopen its doors this August for the third edition of its Supper Series — a seasonal celebration of food, whisky, and heritage. This chapter honours ‘The Glorious Twelfth’ with a five-day culinary residency from Nokx Majozi, the acclaimed South African chef and Head Pie Maker at Holborn Dining Room’s Pie Room, Rosewood London.
Running from Wednesday 13th to Sunday 17th August 2025, The Glorious Twelfth with Nokx Majozi will offer a five-course seasonal menu inspired by Speyside’s game-rich landscape and Majozi’s innovative take on traditional British pies. Each dish will be paired with Chivas Brothers’ iconic Scotch whiskies and bespoke cocktails, celebrating both local ingredients and whisky craftsmanship.
Taking place inside the beautifully restored Victorian manor of Linn House, located on the banks of the River Isla, the experience includes live Scottish entertainment and immersive whisky storytelling. As the private guest house of Chivas Brothers — producers of Chivas Regal, Royal Salute, and The Glenlivet — Linn House offers an authentic yet elevated introduction to Speyside’s hospitality.
‘The Glorious Twelfth’ and a Taste of Tradition
August 12th, known as The Glorious Twelfth, traditionally marks the start of grouse season in Scotland and signals the beginning of the game season across the UK. To mark the occasion, Majozi’s menu will explore both her South African culinary roots and the Scottish larder, culminating in a special Sunday roast-style lunch on 17th August.
Jacques-Henri Brive, Head of Luxury at Chivas Brothers, commented:
“Nokx Majozi’s fearless creativity and deep respect for traditional flavours make her the perfect collaborator for this summer’s Supper Series. Her interpretation of the British classic pie, elevated by locally sourced game and our expertly crafted whiskies, promises a dining experience that’s rich in both taste and storytelling.”

Nokx Majozi added:
“Whisky has always had a special place in my heart, especially Chivas Regal, which reminds me of my father’s love for it back home in South Africa. I’m honoured to bring my own culinary heritage to this unique setting and to reimagine game pies as a way of celebrating Scottish tradition with a hint of modern flair.”
