Knob Creek, produced by James B. Beam Distilling Co., has launched Blender’s Edition, a new limited edition series focused on the art of blending within its bourbon portfolio.
The inaugural release, Blender’s Edition 01, has been developed by Freddie Noe and his blending team, who selected barrels to emphasise a sweeter interpretation of the Knob Creek profile.
Aged for a minimum of 10 years and bottled at 106 proof (53% ABV), the bourbon showcases a full-bodied structure with a focus on confectionery-style sweetness, moving away slightly from the brand’s typically robust and oak-forward character.
Tasting notes:
Nose: Sweet vanilla, confectionery notes
Palate: Full mouthfeel, vanilla bean, soft sweetness
Finish: Long, smooth, gently sweet
The release highlights a more rounded and accessible profile, driven by careful barrel selection and blending rather than changes to the core production process.
Knob Creek Blender’s Edition 01 is now available nationwide in the U.S., with a suggested retail price of $44.99 for a 750ml bottle.
