Kilchoman has announced the release of Kilchoman 13 Years Old, a new limited edition age statement single malt. Following the success of the Kilchoman 16 Year Old, this release combines ex-bourbon casks with a select portion of calvados casks, introducing green apple and fresh fruit notes alongside the distillery’s signature character.
Nose: Fragrant and delicate with bursting notes of fresh pineapple, hibiscus, and lemon sherbets.
Palate: Herbaceous with undertones of dried apple granola, caramelised puffed wheat, and buttered popcorn.
Finish: Light and graceful with reminiscence of orchard fruits and zesty freshness.
Bottled at 50% ABV (70cl), the Kilchoman 13 Years Old will be available in the UK and across Europe starting this week, with a price range of £85–£90. Distribution to additional markets will follow in the coming weeks.
