Isle of Harris Distillery has unveiled The Hearach Decade Edition, a special bottling marking the distillery’s 10th anniversary. This limited release will be available exclusively through the distillery’s webshop and visitor centre from 12 September 2025, priced at £75. Please note that purchases require a UK delivery address, as international shipping is not available.
The Decade Edition holds special significance as the first peated whisky ever released by Isle of Harris Distillery, made with peat hand-cut from the island’s wild landscape. Distilled in 2018 and bottled at 46% ABV, the release reflects a decade of craft, tradition, and community.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Caramelised oranges and dried citrus peel lead the way, followed by sweet, nutty sugared almonds, dark brown sugar, and liquorice toffee. A burst of florals transitions into herbaceous purple heather and lavender.
Palate: Harris peat smoke intertwines with spiced ginger cake and bonfire-toasted marshmallows. The finish is long and creamy.
