The Scottish family-owned glassware company Glencairn Crystal has renewed its sponsorship of both The McIlvanney Prize for the Scottish Crime Book of the Year and the Bloody Scotland Debut Crime Novel of the Year for the sixth year running, with its iconic Glencairn Glass – the official whisky glass.
2024 Award Winners
The winners were announced during the Bloody Scotland International Crime Writing Festival, held in Stirling from 12–14 September.
- The McIlvanney Prize was awarded to Tariq Ashkanani for The Midnight King.
- The Debut Prize went to David Goodman for A Reluctant Spy.
Ashkanani was presented with a giant Glencairn Glass trophy to mark his achievement.
