To mark its 90th anniversary, Heaven Hill Distillery has unveiled a limited-edition 9 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey — a tribute to nearly a century of family tradition, craftsmanship, and innovation in American whiskey.
This exclusive release is crafted from a blend of 70% Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey and 30% Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey aged in heavy char barrels, both produced using Heaven Hill’s traditional mashbill of 78% corn, 12% malted barley, and 10% rye.
A total of 204 barrels were selected for this commemorative bottling — each filled on December 13, 2015, marking Heaven Hill’s 80th Anniversary — and matured for nine years and eight months in Rickhouses G and H (4th and 6th floors).
Bottled at 107 proof (53.5% ABV) and presented non-chill filtered, this anniversary bourbon is described as deeply complex, with the heavy char barrels enhancing its smoothness and depth. Expect rich layers of caramel, vanilla, toasted spice, and oak warmth that showcase the hallmark character of Heaven Hill’s signature style.
