Cù Bòcan Unveils Creation #6 Limited-Edition Single Malt Whisky

Cù Bòcan, the award-winning Highland whisky known for its experimental spirit distilled at the Tomatin distillery, has introduced its latest limited-edition single malt, Creation #6.

Launched in 2013 and inspired by Tomatin’s historical production of lightly-peated spirit over a century ago, Cù Bòcan employs unique cask maturations to craft a range of vibrant flavors.

Cù Bòcan is a Highland Single Malt distilled, matured, and produced at the Tomatin Distillery near Inverness. It is part of Tomatin Distillery’s portfolio of brands, including Tomatin Highland Single Malt, The Antiquary, The Talisman, and Big T.

  • A burst of Caribbean influence with notes of toasted Jamaica ginger cake, bonfire toffee, and banana and walnut loaf.
  • Followed by rum-soaked pineapple, raisins, and a subtle hint of Daim crunchy almond caramel.

  • Palate: Begins with amaretto cherries and salted caramel-coated liquorice, evolving into spiced plum jam and a hint of Fisherman’s Friend lozenges.
  • Texture: Velvety satin-like texture envelops the palate.
  • Finish: Lingering treacle finish.

  • Impressive bespoke bottle with ascending contours that emulate the signature wisp of smoke.
  • Horizontal lines on the glass nod to the staves of casks central to production.
  • External packaging features striking orange and mint green colors with a textured finish resembling peat, capturing the whisky’s smoky character.
