Brave New Spirits, an independent whisky bottler and blender based in Glasgow, has introduced its Cask Masters range, featuring eight single cask whiskies from renowned Highland and Speyside distilleries. The new range focuses on delivering a balance of character, accessibility, and affordability, making it appealing to both seasoned enthusiasts and those exploring independent bottlings.
The whiskies in this collection showcase a variety of first-fill cask maturations and finishes, including Sherry, Bourbon, White Port, Bordeaux, and Muscat wine casks. Each bottle highlights its provenance, with detailed age statements, cask information, and bottling dates on individually numbered labels.
Cask Masters Lineup:
- Craigellachie 9 Year Old (48.1% ABV) – Finished in a Chateau Larose-Trintaudon barrique.
- Inchmurrin 10 Year Old (48.1% ABV) – Matured in a first-fill American Bourbon barrel.
- Benrinnes 13 Year Old (51.9% ABV) – Matured in a first-fill Oloroso Sherry hogshead.
- Teaninich 14 Year Old (50.1% ABV) – Finished in a first-fill Oloroso Sherry barrique.
- Croftengea 8 Year Old (57.9% ABV) – Finished in a first-fill Muscat Blanc barrique.
- Tamnavulin 13 Year Old (54.9% ABV) – Finished in a first-fill Tokaj wine barrique.
- Blair Athol 13 Year Old (57.3% ABV) – Matured in a first-fill Oloroso Sherry hogshead.
- Glenlossie 14 Year Old (54.7% ABV) – Matured in a first-fill White Port hogshead.
