Bimber Distillery in London has announced the launch of the eighth instalment in its acclaimed Spirit of the Underground Collection — a creative partnership with Transport for London (TfL), facilitated by IMG Licensing.
This latest release features four single malt whiskies, each inspired by one of London’s most iconic Tube stations: Elephant and Castle, Marble Arch, South Kensington, and Kew Gardens.
Each bottling showcases distinctive artwork that captures a unique aspect of the capital’s cultural and historical identity, continuing the collection’s mission to celebrate London’s diversity, heritage, and craftsmanship.
Handcrafted from single-farm barley traditionally malted at Warminster Maltings, the whiskies are produced using a seven-day fermentation in Bimber’s custom American oak washbacks, before being distilled in direct-fired copper pot stills. This traditional process enhances copper contact, creating Bimber’s signature rich, fruit-forward character.
Each expression is non-chill filtered, bottled at natural cask strength, and limited in quantity — showcasing the purest form of Bimber’s artisanal single malt style.

- Elephant and Castle – Re-Charred Cask (Ref: 381/54) – 56.5% ABV – 320 bottles
- Kew Gardens – Ex-Bourbon Cask (Ref: 253) – 57.4% ABV – 278 bottles
- Marble Arch – Tawny Port Cask (Ref: 531/48) – 56.9% ABV – 340 bottles
- South Kensington – Ex-Bourbon Cask (Ref: 409) – 58.1% ABV – 262 bottles
When complete, the Spirit of the Underground Collection will comprise 44 individual releases, each celebrating one of London’s landmark Underground stations — uniting art, history, and whisky-making excellence in a tribute to the world’s oldest passenger railway network.

The Spirit of the Underground Release No.8 will be available via online ballot from 10–14 October 2025 at £135 per bottle through Bimber’s Spirit of the Underground website.
