Developed in direct response to demand from bartenders and whisky lovers, this higher-strength expression offers enhanced flavour, structure, and versatility—crafted specifically to elevate classic cocktails.
Maintaining the smooth and approachable character that defines Sazerac Rye, the new 100 Proof bottling has been carefully refined to ensure the increased strength enhances rather than overwhelms its signature profile. The result is a more robust rye that shines in bold cocktails like the Manhattan and, of course, the namesake Sazerac.
A staple behind the bar, Sazerac Rye honours the spirited legacy of New Orleans and the pivotal role of rye whiskey in American cocktail history. Its signature dry and spicy profile has long been valued for balancing sweet and bitter elements in mixology.
Like the original 90 Proof version, the 100 Proof Sazerac Rye features aromas of clove, vanilla, anise, and black pepper, while the palate delivers candied spice and citrus, concluding in a smooth, lingering finish with hints of liquorice. The elevated ABV intensifies these notes, resulting in a richer, more defined flavour experience.
