Independent bottler Rare Find has unveiled a new Glenglassaugh Single Cask Collection, presenting three limited-edition releases that demonstrate how different cask finishes can transform the distinctive spirit of the coastal Highland distillery.
The Edinburgh-based independent bottler continues to expand its impressive 2026 portfolio, with this latest collection focusing exclusively on Glenglassaugh. Each whisky highlights a different maturation journey while preserving the distillery’s signature fruity, honeyed and subtly maritime character.
Known for producing an elegant coastal Highland style, Glenglassaugh offers an ideal foundation for experimental cask finishes. Its naturally vibrant profile allows additional layers of flavour to develop without overshadowing the whisky’s unmistakable identity.
For this collection, Rare Find selected three contrasting cask finishes:
- Glenglassaugh 10 Year Old – finished for 19 months in a first-fill Foursquare rum barrel, bottled at 54.6% ABV, limited to 234 bottles.
- Glenglassaugh 9 Year Old – finished for 11 months in a first-fill Madeira octave, bottled at 52.7% ABV, limited to 53 bottles.
- Glenglassaugh 9 Year Old – finished for 11 months in a first-fill Ruby Port octave, bottled at 52.2% ABV, limited to 48 bottles.
Each expression explores a different side of the distillery’s spirit, with the finishes enhancing notes of tropical fruit, spice, dried fruit and rich berries, while maintaining Glenglassaugh’s fresh coastal DNA.
As with every Rare Find release, all three whiskies are bottled at natural cask strength, with natural colour and no chill filtration, allowing enthusiasts to experience each cask in its purest form.
