Organic Scotch whisky distillery Nc’nean has announced the third release of its latest limited edition whisky, Huntress Orchard Cobbler, as part of its annual Huntress series. Embracing the essence of the Gaelic goddess Neachneohain, known as a fearless huntress, this release is set to tantalize the taste buds with its fruit-forward profile.

Each year, Nc’nean pays homage to its namesake with the Huntress series, offering a glimpse into the distillery’s innovative spirit. The 2024 release, Huntress Orchard Cobbler, marks the third installment in this esteemed collection. Crafted with precision and passion, this whisky embodies the adventurous and independent nature of the huntress.
Crafted from a Unique Spirit
Huntress Orchard Cobbler is crafted from a distinctive spirit produced during a pivotal moment in Nc’nean’s distillation process. Produced at the juncture when the distillery transitions between spirit types—designed for both youthful expression and extended maturation—the result is a remarkably fruity spirit that captivates the senses.
A Fusion of Flavors
This exceptional spirit was aged in a blend of STR(shaved, toasted, and recharred) red wine casks(66%), ex-American whiskey casks(31%), and certified organic oloroso sherry casks(3%). The result is a symphony of flavors, with tasting notes revealing hints of cherry Bakewell tart, apricot marmalade, and vanilla custard.
