Maker’s Mark, the renowned Kentucky straight bourbon whisky brand under Beam Suntory‘s ownership, has unveiled the final addition to its Wood Finishing Series.
The Maker’s Mark Wood Finishing Series London Edition debuted at a special pop-up event in London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5, where it will be exclusively available for purchase at a suggested retail price of $90/£70 from 14th of March.
Bottled at 54.4% ABV, the Maker’s Mark Wood Finishing Series London Edition is a limited release with only 720 bottles produced.
Launched in 2022, the Wood Finishing Series draws inspiration from various cities worldwide. London marks the fifth and concluding release in this city-themed series, following New York, Sydney, Frankfurt, and Singapore.
Vincent Doutreleau, Brand Manager Global Travel Retail at Beam Suntory, shared insights, stating, “The five cities are strategic from a global travel retail perspective – for Maker’s Mark and Beam Suntory as a whole. They offer diverse nationalities and bourbon-savvy travellers. They’re the best locations to showcase the bourbon and to engage with consumers that are familiar with the Maker’s Mark range, or with our competition.“
