Lochlea Distillery is thrilled to announce the release of its Harvest Edition (Third Crop), set to launch on August 29th, coinciding with the distillery’s 6th anniversary. This eagerly awaited release continues the distillery’s tradition of celebrating the annual barley harvest, showcasing the evolving character of their whisky.
The Harvest Edition (Third Crop) has been expertly double matured in a combination of refill bourbon barrels, port hogsheads, and a single oloroso sherry butt. This unique maturation process adds a rich complexity to the whisky, offering a fresh take on the sweet and summery notes that have become synonymous with the Harvest series.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Juicy red grapes, fresh strawberry jam, and clotted cream.
- Palate: Baked apple pie paired with white chocolate.

Bottled at 46% ABV, the whisky is non-chill filtered and retains its natural color, ensuring the purity of flavor and texture.
