Johnnie Walker Unveils Blue Label Ice Chalet Inspired by Après Ski Moments

Earlier this month, we highlighted Johnnie Walker’s collaboration with Netflix’s global sensation, Limited-Edition Squid Game-Inspired Whisky, in celebration of the show’s upcoming second season, showcasing the brand’s commitment to merging luxury with pop culture.

Johnnie Walker, the renowned Diageo-owned blended whisky, has made its first venture into the après ski scene with the launch of its limited edition Blue Label Ice Chalet. The release marks a collaboration with luxury skiwear brand Perfect Moment and is fronted by Priyanka Chopra Jonas, actress and shareholder in Perfect Moment.

The whisky, crafted by master blender Emma Walker, takes inspiration from the magic of ‘Blue Hour’, the serene period between sunset and twilight when skiers shift from the slopes to socializing. The Ice Chalet blend features tasting notes of cinnamon-spiced apple, warm cloves, and a subtle Alpine smoke, perfectly capturing the essence of wintery landscapes.

Notably, only one in 10,000 casks meets the standards for inclusion in this blend, which includes whiskies from Dalwhinnie, Clynelish, Brora, and Roseisle. The use of whisky distilled during Scotland’s coldest winters adds a unique depth and warmth to the expression, which is available globally for US$350 (€319/£267).

The release is also accompanied by a capsule ski wear collection from Perfect Moment, blending functionality with high-fashion in true après ski style. Throughout the ski season, Johnnie Walker will host luxury ‘Blue Hour’ experiences in popular ski destinations, further elevating this new chapter in the brand’s legacy.
