Jack Daniel’s x McLaren F1 Limited Edition

Just a few days ago, we delved into the new release of bonded rye whiskey from Jack Daniel’s, and today, we’re back with another exciting whisky announcement. This time, it’s a collaboration that brings together the worlds of luxury automaking and premium spirits. Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey has joined forces with McLaren’s Formula 1 team to unveil a limited-edition release for 2024.

A Classic Mashbill with a Stylish Twist

Inside the McLaren Racing Limited Edition bottle, you’ll find the same timeless Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey that enthusiasts know and love. Crafted with a mashbill consisting of 80% corn, 12% malted barley, and 8% rye, this whiskey undergoes the traditional Lynchburg distillation process, followed by mellowing through 10 feet of charcoal. However, what sets this release apart is its striking packaging design.

Inspired by Speed and Heritage

Adorning the bottle neck wrapper is the iconic McLaren “swoosh” logo, known as the Speedy Kiwi. This emblem pays homage to McLaren’s founder, Bruce McLaren, and his New Zealand roots, where kiwi birds are native. Originally featured on McLaren’s personal F1 cars in the 1960s, the logo has evolved over time to embody speed and agility, much like the cars themselves.

Racing Colors and Distinctive Flair

The vibrant orange hue of the box and label is none other than Papaya Orange, synonymous with McLaren’s racing identity. Dating back to the mid-1960s, this color has become synonymous with the legendary supercar brand, symbolizing its rich racing heritage and spirit of innovation.

Availability

The McLaren Racing Limited Edition is offered in 1-liter bottles across select markets, with 700 ml bottles available in Formula 1 race cities worldwide. While specific quantities remain undisclosed by the distillery, previous McLaren Racing limited releases have typically seen around 2,000 cases distributed globally.
