Glenmorangie has unveiled the Glenmorangie Harrison Ford Limited Edition, a new single malt Scotch whisky developed in collaboration with actor Harrison Ford and Director of Whisky Creation Dr Bill Lumsden.
The project follows Ford’s involvement in the brand’s Once Upon a Time in Scotland campaign, where his interest in the distillery’s style led to a hands-on role in shaping the final whisky. Over a series of tastings, Ford and Lumsden selected and refined cask components to align with the actor’s personal flavour preferences.

The resulting expression combines bourbon cask-matured Glenmorangie with a parcel of whisky finished in toasted Portuguese red wine casks, introducing a contrast between the distillery’s signature elegance and a more structured, slightly tangy profile.
The flavour profile is described as featuring citrus-led freshness, alongside muscovado sugar, apricot and buttery sweetness, with a finish carrying orange oil, leather and oak tannin.
The release has been introduced as part of a new instalment in the campaign series, directed by Joel Edgerton, with filming taking place in Wyoming. The launch is further supported by a cinematic-style campaign referencing Ford’s film career.
According to Dr Lumsden, the whisky reflects a balance between Glenmorangie’s house style and Ford’s preference for a dram with added structure and intensity, achieved through the integration of red wine cask influence.
Glenmorangie Harrison Ford Limited Edition is available from 4 May 2026 via the distillery, online, and selected specialist retailers, with an RRP of £75.
