Four Roses Unveils 2024 Small Batch Bourbon

The 2024 Edition of Four Roses’ Small Batch Bourbon represents the 17th iteration of one of Kentucky’s most cherished whiskey expressions. Known for its meticulous blending process, this annual release combines four distinct batches, each crafted from the distillery’s unique selection of 10 proprietary recipes.

This year’s edition showcases a carefully curated blend:

  • 39% – 16 Year Old OESF Bourbon: Known for its minty, fruity profile and full body.
  • 31% – 12 Year Old OBSV Bourbon: Delicate and fruity with a spicy, creamy finish.
  • 23% – 15 Year Old OESK Bourbon: Characterized by its spicy flavor and full body.
  • 7% – 20 Year Old OBSV Bourbon: Offers a refined balance of delicate fruit, spice, and creamy texture.

The resulting bourbon is a complex and harmonious spirit. On the nose, expect creamy vanilla, honey, and brown sugar. The palate reveals layers of ripe berries, tangy citrus, and herbal notes, balanced by Four Roses’ signature mellow spice. The finish is delicate, leaving a lasting impression of sweetness intertwined with subtle spice.

Bottled at a robust 54.1% ABV (108.2 Proof), this limited edition bourbon is priced at $220 and will initially be available at the Four Roses Visitor Center in Kentucky. A broader release across the United States is scheduled for September, with a total of 16,680 bottles produced.
