WILDMOOR unveils a distinguished range of high-age-statement whiskies meticulously blended from William Grant & Sons extensive reserve of Scotch whiskies sourced from various regions across Scotland. Helmed by master blender Brian Kinsman, who assumed the role in 2009 after joining the company as a whisky chemist in 1997, the collection comprises seven expressions ranging from 21 to 40 years old.

Inspired by the untamed beauty of Scotland’s rugged landscapes, Kinsman and William Grant & Sons embarked on a journey to encapsulate the essence of its wild terrains. “Our vision for WILDMOOR was to craft whiskies that capture the raw splendor of Scotland’s most remote and breathtaking landscapes,” remarked Kinsman.

With unrestricted access to the family’s treasured reserves, Kinsman delved deep into his personal memories of Scotland’s untamed regions, curating a series of exceptionally aged and prestigious blended malts and whiskies. Each expression serves as a multisensory homage to Scotland’s vast topography.

Honoring Scotland’s Wilderness

The WILDMOOR bottles reflect Scotland’s untamed spirit through a rugged relief effect. The collection includes:

  • Dark Moorland 23 Years Old: Blended from Highland, Speyside malts, and Lowland grain whisky, matured in American and European oak, with a finish in oloroso sherry casks.
  • Rugged Coast 30 Years Old: Finished in oloroso sherry casks, offering a harmonious blend of smoke and rich stone fruit notes.
  • Black Mountain 40 Years Old: A blend of Ghosted Distillery stock, grain, and Highland malt whiskies, enhanced by a Pedro Ximenez cask finish.
  • Heather Valley 21 Years Old (Taiwan exclusive): A fusion of Highland, Speyside malts, and Lowland grain whisky, aged in American and European oak, with an oloroso sherry cask finish.
  • Ancient Moorland 23 Years Old (China and Taiwan exclusive): Malts from Highlands and Speyside, matured in American and European oak, finished in oloroso sherry casks.
  • Waking Forest 23 Years Old (travel retail range only): Smooth vanilla flavors with a rich sweetness, aged in new and sherry oak casks.
  • Tropical Coast 30 Years Old (travel retail range only): Inspired by the Scottish coast, finished in Caribbean rum casks.
