This unique expression is finished in Bourbon and Virgin American Oak casks, creating a rich and smooth flavor profile. Bottled at 46% ABV, this exclusive release is limited to just 300 bottles, each adorned with a bespoke Belfast TradFest label.
Availability
Starting from July 21, this limited-edition whiskey will be available for purchase at Maddens Bar, The Garrick Bar, The Friend at Hand Whiskey Shop, and online from The Echlinville Distillery, priced at £55. Additionally, whiskey enthusiasts can sample it by the glass at various venues participating in Belfast TradFest’s Dunville’s Irish Whiskey Session Trail from July 21-28.

A Week of Music and Whiskey
The Dunville’s Irish Whiskey Session Trail promises an exciting week filled with traditional music, song, and dance. Featuring over 70 sessions in 17 of Belfast’s most beloved pubs, the trail offers festival-goers the chance to enjoy live music and sample the exclusive whiskey. The Dunville’s team will be present throughout the week, offering whiskey tastings, special promotions, and unique serves in collaboration with top bars in Belfast.
Belfast TradFest: A Growing Tradition
Now in its sixth year, Belfast TradFest continues to grow, attracting performers and visitors from around the globe. Dónal O’Connor, Director of Belfast TradFest, shared his enthusiasm: “Belfast TradFest 2024 will be a thrilling week of concerts, masterclasses, and sessions, showcasing the finest talents in traditional arts. The Dunville’s Irish Whiskey Session Trail is central to the festival, transforming Belfast’s traditional pubs into vibrant hubs of music and celebration.”
Traditional Céilí House Style Sessions
The sessions follow the centuries-old Céilí House style, where a local master musician begins the evening with a performance, inviting others to join in as the night progresses. These sessions, lasting two hours each, feature Ireland’s finest traditional performers, offering an hour for aspiring musicians to participate.
