In celebration of the Year of the Dragon, Leo Burnett Singapore and Beam Suntory have introduced a special edition packaging for Bowmore® Islay Single Malt Scotch Whiskey. The design embodies a carp’s transformation into a powerful dragon, symbolizing Bowmore’s journey to greatness.

With a legacy spanning over 240 years, Bowmore epitomizes resilience and determination, remaining committed to the art of handcrafted whisky. The special edition packaging pays tribute to Bowmore’s enduring spirit, drawing inspiration from an old Chinese proverb and the brand’s history of perseverance.
Artistic Representation
Singaporean illustrator Kenn Lam skillfully captures the moment of the carp’s metamorphosis into a triumphant dragon, revealed as the package opens to unveil the Bowmore Single Malt inside. The back of the box features an original spring couplet, recounting the carp and dragon story in contemporary Chinese calligraphy.

The special edition packaging showcases the exclusive 18-Year-Old Bowmore whisky, bottled at 43% alcohol. This exceptional whisky has been matured in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks, contributing to its unique and rich flavor profile.
The 2024 special edition packaging for the Lunar New Year showcases the Core 15-Year-Old bottle (available in Canada only), and an exclusive 18-Year-Old bottle (available in select travel retail doors). This limited edition pack is currently available for purchase in anticipation of the Lunar New Year.
