Dalmore continues to make waves with exciting releases. Just yesterday, we introduced the Portfolio Series, exclusive to global travelers, and today, we bring you the latest addition to their impressive lineup.
The Dalmore has just launched the second chapter of its Cask Curation Series, following the debut of the Sherry Edition in 2023. The Port Edition is limited to just 150 sets worldwide and features three exquisite single malt whiskies aged 27, 30, and 43 years. Each whisky was initially matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks before being finished in rare Graham’s Single Harvest Tawny Port casks.
The three whiskies in this collection are:
- Dalmore Cask Curation Series Port Edition – Aged 27 Years (49.3% ABV), finished in 1997 in Graham’s Single Harvest Tawny Port casks.
- Dalmore Cask Curation Series Port Edition – Aged 30 Years (43.9% ABV), finished in 1994 in Graham’s Single Harvest Tawny Port casks.
- Dalmore Cask Curation Series Port Edition – Aged 43 Years (41.8% ABV), finished in Graham’s 1952 Single Harvest Tawny Port casks.
This Port Edition was made possible through an exclusive partnership between The Dalmore and Symington Family Estates, granting the distillery access to some of Graham’s rarest port casks. The whiskies are presented in a specially designed leather travel case, handmade in Florence, with a striking green hue representing both Portugal and the winemakers.
The limited-edition set, restricted to only 150 worldwide, is now (1st October) available through select retailers at a recommended retail price of £35,000 (approximately €42,100). Whisky enthusiasts can look forward to the third chapter of the Cask Curation Series in 2025, with the fourth and final installment slated for 2026.
