Benriach Unveils 25-Year-Old Triple Distilled Whisky for Global Travel Retail

Brown-Forman’s Benriach has launched a 25-year-old whisky exclusively for global travel retail (GTR), named The Benriach Triple Distilled 25 Years Old, retailing for £300 (US$380).

Craftsmanship and Maturation

This 47% ABV whisky is crafted from the distillery’s initial batches of triple-distilled spirit and matured in three different casks: Bourbon, Oloroso Sherry, and virgin oak, representing a testament to Benriach’s dedication to pushing the boundaries of whisky making.

Joining the GTR-Exclusive Lineup

The Triple Distilled 25 Years Old joins expressions such as the Quarter Cask, the Smoky Quarter Cask, Triple Distilled Ten, and 22 Years Old Triple Distilled in the brand’s GTR-exclusive lineup, offering travelers an exclusive and diverse range of premium whiskies.

Tasting Experience

The whisky’s aromatic profile includes toasted sticky toffee walnuts, orange compote, and Manuka honey, while the palate offers ‘warming oak spice and fine soft leather that support flavors of nectarine and Oloroso Sherry’, culminating in a well-rounded finish marked by a lingering touch of white grape.

With only 900 cases available for RRP £300 (US$380), this exceptionally rare whisky offers enthusiasts a limited opportunity to experience the exquisite complexity and creativity of the Benriach Distillery, expertly curated by the master blender, Rachel Barrie.
